The Conservatory is proud to present the Noonday Concert Series. Join us for free quality music presented by our talented faculty and students. These concerts have been an integral part of our mission to provide equal access to quality music since 1996.

DIMENSIONS IN JAZZ

Complementing our Jazz Studies Program, the Dimensions in Jazz concert series brings renowned avant-garde musicians to Portland. Trios, ensembles and individual performers take the stage, joined by PCM’s jazz faculty. For more information, call the jazz series organizer, Paul Lichter, (207) 828-1310.

BACK COVE CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Back Cove Festival features an array of new chamber music by composers from Maine and northern New England. Many are on hand to introduce their pieces and interact with the audience.

Performers include many of the region’s finest musicians.

Established in 2009, the festival is held biennially.

SPECIAL MUSIC PERFORMANCES

Throughout the year we host a variety of special events that highlight the Conservatory’s programs. We invite you to attend recitals by our talented students or to join us at one of our fund raisers for making quality music accessible to all.
