The Portland Conservatory of Music and the Peaks House Concerts are teaming up to bring you a full night of fantastic Celtic music on Peaks Island at the beautiful 5th Maine.

The Portland Conservatory of Music sponsored by CBIA (Casco Bay Islands Alliance) presents an evening of Scottish Traditional Music with the Ed Pearlman Trio on Thursday July 20 from 7-8 pm at the Fifth Maine.  Ed Pearlman is joined by pianist Beth Murray and a top fiddling companion for an exuberant concert of Scottish fiddling.

Stick around at the 5th Maine from 8-9 pm  to enjoy Eamon O’Leary (a songwriter who grew up in Dublin), Liz Knowles (who combines Irish fiddle music with classical violin), and Jefferson Hamer (a guitarist and songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY) perform a contemporary take on Irish Traditional Music.
