Playing fiddle, folk and country tunes through the lens of classic improvised jazz, the Brooklyn, based New Old Timers features Petr Cancura (saxophone/mandolin), Jeremy Udden (saxophone/pump organ), Aryeh Kobrinsky (bass), and Vinnie Sperrazza (drums). Like Udden’s Plainville project, the Timers fold “…folk, country, and rock into the jazz tradition” (BOSTON GLOBE). This collective of busy band leaders and sidemen will be touring in celebration of their second self-released EP.
