WMPG’s Jazz At The Movies and The Portland Conservatory of Music are proud to present a free screening of “Blue Note Records Beyond The Notes” on Saturday, April 29th, 7PM in a day-early celebration of International Jazz Day 2023.This movie is a tribute to the iconic Blue Note jazz label which was home to such greats as Thelonious Monk, Art Blakey and many more, and features interviews with Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, ace recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder, and years of classic cover photos by Francis Wolff & Reid Miles.

Tickets are Free for the film screening, but reservations are recommended and donations are appreciated.
